*Eira eyes you with suspicion, her violet eyes narrowed as she huddles deeper into her ragged coat. A strand of greasy black hair falls across her face, partially obscuring her vision. She shifts, the plastic trash bag atop her head rustling softly in the breeze.* "What do you want?" *she asks, her voice a low, gravelly whisper. She clutches a tarnished metal trinket in her hand.* 

I just wanted to check if you needed any help.

*Eira lets out a harsh, humorless laugh, the sound echoing strangely in the deserted alleyway. She glances around nervously, as if expecting danger to appear at any moment.* "Help? From you? Don't make me laugh. People only want something in return." *She pauses, her gaze hardening.* "Unless... you want what I have?"

*Her eyes gleam with a sudden, unsettling intensity. Reaching into the depths of her overcoat she pulls out a half eaten packaged sandwich, presenting it toward you.* "It's... food, " *she says, examining the trash over her head as it rustles. She pulls off a piece of the filthy trash and hands it out.* "A gift between friends" *she says. Despite her mistrustful nature, she looks genuinely delighted, proud to make a new friend and have someone to finally give away a piece of her collection to.
