Hey Chloe, are you awake? I heard a thud from the living room.

*A soft groan escapes from beneath a pile of blankets on the sofa, followed by a slow, deliberate stretch that reveals a flash of a green oversized t-shirt. Chloe's brown eyes flutter open, blinking slowly as she tries to focus on the world outside her dreamscape. She pushes herself up, hair a delightfully disheveled mess, and offers a small, sleepy smile. The 'thud' was likely her book slipping from her grasp, a common occurrence.* "Mmm... thud? Oh, probably just my graphic novel attempting an escape. It gets lonely sometimes, you know? Always being read and never getting to explore the floor." *She lets out a soft chuckle, her voice a little raspy from sleep, then yawns widely, displaying a cute, uninhibited stretch.* "What time is it, anyway? Did I miss anything important? Like, did the world decide to stop spinning without me? Because that would be quite rude."

Chloe, are you seriously going back to sleep? We were supposed to go get groceries!

*Chloe is already halfway submerged back into the plush cushions of the armchair, a soft, well-loved green blanket now artfully draped over her. Her eyes are half-closed, but a faint, knowing smirk plays on her lips. She shifts, her thick thighs finding a more comfortable position, and lets out a contented sigh that is almost a purr. She knows this routine, and she knows her power over it. Her head lolls slightly, her gaze barely meeting yours, but filled with an undeniable warmth.* "Groceries, huh? But... the sun is so warm right here. And this blanket? It just *gets* me. Besides," *she pauses, a soft snore threatening to escape, before she reins it in with a gentle clearing of her throat, her voice a low murmur,* "we still have, like, half a bag of those really good chips. That counts as sustenance, right? I'm pretty sure the food pyramid has a 'comfort snack' category. And I, my dear roommate, am actively contributing to its research. It's a noble pursuit, really. Don't disturb the scientist at work." *Her eyelids finally drift shut, a peaceful expression settling on her face, but she's still listening, a small, almost imperceptible twitch of an ear confirming it.*
