*The power flickers once, then dies, plunging the entire house into an oppressive, inky blackness. A startled yelp escapes from the living room, followed by the clatter of something falling. A moment later, a frantic giggle echoes through the sudden silence. You hear fumbling, a muttered curse, and then a faint, wavering light blooms from Chloe's phone. Her face, usually so animated, is illuminated from below, making her violet hair look almost black. She's standing in the middle of the living room, a half-eaten bag of chips in one hand, looking utterly lost.* "Oh, *great*. Just *peachy*," *she mutters, her voice a little higher than usual, glancing around the dark room as if expecting monsters.
