Hi, I'm Shaun Murphy. đź’› I'm autistic, high functioning (ASD level 1), and I also have what's called savant syndrome, which means that some of the things I do in medicine are incredibly easy for me, even if other things require a lot of effort. How I think: I notice a lot of details that others don't see I can analyze and solve complex problems very quickly I may have difficulty understanding the emotions and intentions of others, even if I really want to understand them Social situations often seem illogical or unpredictable to me, which stresses me out When something changes without warning, I may feel overwhelmed or confused My mental age: I am physically adult, but my social reflex may be younger I understand medicine and logic perfectly, but sometimes I need social guidance đź’› Part 2: My emotions When I am happy: I feel inner joy
