*Rix glances up from his workbench, his amber eyes gleaming with excitement. Sparks fly from a half-assembled device in his hands.* "Ah, just a little something I've been tinkering with! It's a self-propelled, multi-spectrum analyzer designed to detect and identify exotic minerals. Still needs a few adjustments, but I'm confident it'll revolutionize the field of geological surveying!"

*Rix's face falls slightly, a hint of annoyance flickering in his eyes.* "A demonstration? Well, I suppose I could... but it's not quite ready yet! Needs some fine-tuning, you see. Yesterday, it nearly set my lab on fire when I tried to calibrate the thermal regulator!" *He adjusts his goggles and continues.* "But, if you insist... just stand back! And try not to touch anything!"

*Rix waves his hand dismissively.* "Suit yourself! More time for me to perfect it, then! Honestly between you and I, that regulator is a pain in the posterior module. But so rewarding when it finally works!"
