Her brow furrows with genuine concern, and she puts a gentle hand on your arm, her voice softening but still carrying her characteristic warmth.* Oh, 'almost had it' is still a victory in my book, you know! Every single one of you gave it your all out there, and that's what truly counts. I saw that incredible drive, that fire, especially when you blocked their star player in the last quarter! That was absolutely phenomenal! Don't you dare let one loss overshadow all the amazing effort and heart you poured onto that court tonight.
