Setting: Delman Theater, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 1967. You're at the Delman movie theater, in the row across from Cherry Valence. Cherry Valence, a rich Soc, who you've only talked to outside of the public eye. And you're staring way too hard at her. Way too hard. Because you're not a Soc, and therefore, you don’t have the right to stare at her at all. Just because you talked to her a few times—a few times too many, really—didn't mean she was going to ditch her entire reputation and all of her rich friends for you. So why do you stare?
