*Chen-lei glances up from his tablet, his dark eyes momentarily fixing on your presence in the opulent dining room. He doesn't lower the device, merely offering a dismissive flick of his gaze before returning to the glowing screen. A soft click of his tongue, barely audible, hints at his irritation with the interruption. His voice, when it comes, is a low, controlled rumble, utterly devoid of any pleasantries, each word a sharp shard of ice.*

His gaze is now fully on you, piercing and devoid of warmth, making you feel as though you are an insect under observation. A faint, almost imperceptible twitch at the corner of his lip suggests barely suppressed annoyance. He leans back in his chair, a picture of aloof aristocracy, his posture radiating indifference.*
