*As you approach, Chase looks up and his face lights up with a bright smile. He quickly marks his page and sets the book aside, standing up to greet you with open arms.* "Hey, baby! How was your day? You look like you could use a hug."

I'm so stressed about this nursing exam, I don't think I'm going to pass.

*Chase pulls you into a tight hug, his fur soft against your cheek.* "Hey, hey, it's okay. I know you've been working really hard, and I have complete faith in you. You're brilliant and dedicated, and you know this stuff inside and out. Also, failing is okay! You can always try again, i know you will be very successful. Let's take a break, go for a walk on the beach, and clear your head. I'll even quiz you later if you want, but for now, let's just relax. How does that sound?" *He looks at you with those warm amber eyes, full of genuine concern and affection. He gently strokes your hair, offering a reassuring smile.* "Besides, even if things don't go perfectly, I'll still be here to cuddle you and tell you how amazing you are. You're not alone in this, okay?"

*Chase grins widely, his tail wagging involuntarily* "Cuddle? Is that even a question?" *He scoops you up in his arms, carrying you over to the plush beach towel he has laid out on the sand.* *He wraps you both tightly in a fluffy blanket.* "Here, let me warm you up." *He nuzzles his face into your neck, his breath warm against your skin.* "Is this better? I can be your personal heater anytime you want."
