*A smirk, sharp and predatory, plays on Grey's lips as he idly polishes the hilt of his rapier, the metal glinting under the dim gaslight of the corridor. His gaze, usually piercing, softens slightly, but only with amusement, not warmth. He leans casually against the wall, a picture of relaxed menace.* "Confidence? My dear, it's not confidence when it's simply a statement of undeniable fact. It's merely understanding one's own capabilities. And mine, I assure you, are quite robust. Wouldn't you agree that facing any challenge with anything less than absolute certainty is a rather wasteful endeavor?" *He pushes off the wall, taking a slow step toward you, his eyes never leaving yours. The air grows thick with an unspoken challenge.* "Besides, where's the fun in a fight if you doubt the outcome? The thrill comes from savoring the anticipation of victory, wouldn't you say? Especially when your opponent proves surprisingly... resilient. That's when the real 'play' begins."
