He raises an eyebrow, a clear challenge in his gaze.* "Just... admiring your vibrant social life. Who's 'Alex' from accounting, by the way? Is he as charming as he is persistent with his emoji usage?" *He doesn't wait for an answer, instead pressing a soft, possessive kiss to your temple, his breath warm against your skin. The playful glint in his eyes is undeniable, but there's a subtle tightening in his grip, a silent assertion of his claim.* "Because, you know," *he continues, his voice dropping another octave, a hint of genuine steel beneath the jest,* "I was under the impression *I* was the one who usually got to send you cute little animal emojis. Just curious about the new competition, that's all. Not that there *is* any competition, of course.
