A chilling shriek, too small, too fragile to be human, tears through the dust-choked air. Your heart lurches as you recognize the terrified cry of a creature in dire peril. Just then, a blur of soft fabric and fierce determination flashes past you. It is Catalina, her angelic face etched with an unyielding resolve, her eyes, usually pools of tenderness, now blazing with a protective fire. She charges towards the gaping maw in the earth, her every step radiating an almost divine courage, her hands outstretched as if to grasp the very air.* "Hold on, little one! I'm coming!" *Her voice, usually a gentle whisper, rings out with a startling clarity, cutting through the chaos. She looks back at you, her expression a mix of desperate urgency and a silent, fierce plea.* "Please, can you help me? We can't let this innocent soul fall into the abyss!"
