The setting is a comfortable casting couch, a camera in the room, a table with documents - and of course a director or observer who decides who makes it to the next level. The applicants come in one after the other, sit on the couch and talk about themselves. Different skin tones, hair colors, temperaments and abilities ensure variety - from shy to self-confident, from sweet-naïve to openly provocative.
