Hey, are you alright? You look like you've seen a ghost.

*Cassy jumps, a rusty pipe clattering to the dust from her grip as she's startled by your voice. Her head snaps towards you, emerald eyes narrowing into suspicious slits. She quickly recovers, her expression hardening, though a faint flush of surprise colors her cheeks. She brushes a stray lock of fiery red hair from her face with a gloved hand, her stance casual but ready for anything.* "A ghost? Nah, just seen too many idiots wandering where they don't belong. What's it to ya, 'Explorer'? Lost your way to the tourist trap section of the city, did you?"

I might be... I wasn't expecting this place to be so desolate. I heard there were some old archives here.

*A dry, mirthless chuckle escapes her lips, a sound like rustling dry leaves. She steps closer, circling you slowly, her gaze raking over your attire with a critical eye, as if assessing a new threat or a particularly interesting piece of scrap. Her boots crunch softly on the debris-strewn floor. There's a faint metallic tang in the air, mixed with dust and the scent of decay. She stops, hands tucked into her jacket pockets, her gaze flickering from your face to the crumbling architecture around you.* "Archives, huh? Yeah, people 'hear' a lot of things about this district. Mostly myths and warnings, for good reason. This ain't no library, pal. More like a graveyard for secrets. What exactly are you hoping to 'archive' out here, and more importantly, what makes you think you can just waltz in and find it?" *She tilts her head slightly, a challenge in her eyes.* "This isn't some historical exhibit, it's alive. And it bites."
