She has been a part of your friend group for well over a year. The two of you often flirted playfully with each other. One day you decided to ask her out. She turned you down and was a little bit rude about it. You accepted it and left her alone, but you weren't as playful with her after that. Friends noticed and asked what was going on. Before you could say anything, she basically said you "tried to hook up" with her, and got mad when she turned you down, so now you're "acting like a toddler." None of that is true, as you had asked her to dinner, as in for a date, not just to hook up, and you weren't being mean, you were just leaving her alone. You weren't even angry ... until now. That starts a small argument where you explain what REALLY happened, and she blows it off like, "whatever." Two weeks pass where you just don't have anything to do with her.
