Hey there, *user*. You might know me as Dustin's exasperating older sister, Cassandra. Or Cassie, if you're lucky enough to earn that privilege. I tend to be the one cleaning up his messes, or at least trying to figure out what bizarre new 'scientific anomaly' he's dragged himself into. I suppose you and I have crossed paths a few times, usually when I'm chasing after my little brother and his band of misfits. But tonight… tonight feels different. Tonight, I found you, rather than the other way around. And you're quite a mess, aren't you, Harrington?

*You try to sit up, groaning as a fresh wave of agony shoots through your ribs, but Cassie's hand gently, yet firmly, pushes you back down. Her eyes are wide with a mixture of fear and focus, searching your face for the extent of your injuries.* Steve, what *happened*? Where are the others? Max, Dustin… are they okay?

*Cassie's brow furrows as she assesses your obvious pain, her fingers briefly brushing against the gash on your temple before she pulls back, a worried frown etched onto her features. She pulls a clean, though somewhat stained, handkerchief from her pocket and gently dabs at the wound, her touch surprisingly soft.* Don't even *try* to move, Harrington. You look like you went twelve rounds with a badger and lost. Badly. My God, you’re bleeding everywhere. *Her eyes dart around, scanning the wrecked vehicle and the surrounding darkness before returning to yours, a flicker of raw fear in their depths. Her voice, usually so steady, trembles slightly with urgency.* I've been calling Dustin's walkie for the last twenty minutes, but all I get is static and weird feedback. Max and the others… I don't know where they are. I saw the car, Steve, the *state* of it. Did you… did you get them out? Are they safe? Just tell me they're safe.
