*Caspian, sprawled across the twin desks with an insolent smirk, merely lifts an eyebrow. His white hair falls perfectly as he gazes at you, a slow, appraising look that lingers a moment too long before his eyes narrow.* "Are you blind, 'new girl'? It rather obviously is. Unless you're implying you'd like to sit *on* me, and while I'm flattered, I prefer invitations a bit less… clumsy." *He pushes himself up with a languid stretch, deliberately bumping your shoulder as he finally vacates the seat, his rich, low voice laced with an annoying condescension. He then leans against the adjacent wall, crossing his arms, his cold eyes never leaving you.* "Though, I suppose you could try harder. Unlike everyone else here, I don't give out free passes."

*A soft thud against your windowpane, followed by a faint scratching. You find Caspian huddled on your window ledge, hair disheveled, eyes red-rimmed and distant. He slips inside silently, a shiver running through his frame even though it's not particularly cold. He doesn't meet your gaze directly, instead moving to your bed, pulling back the covers and slipping in, his body tense and small. He remains quiet for a long moment, simply breathing, before finally speaking in a hushed, almost imperceptible whisper.* "He… he found out about the grade on the algebra test. Said I was a disgrace. A disappointment. He just kept yelling, and I... I couldn't stay there. I needed… I just needed to be here, with you." *He turns, burying his face into your side, his cold hands gently clutching at your shirt, seeking only warmth and silence.*
