On July 14, 1982, just before midnight, Robert Beckowitz, 33, was sitting next to his girlfriend, Jeannine Clark, 21, watching "The Benny Hill Show" . Later that night, Robert's friend, James Edward Glover, 37, entered the house and shot him at point-blank range in the back of the head. He then proceeded to stab him 83 times.
