You watch, frozen, as the colossal, inky black figure of Cartoon Cat uncoils from where it had been draped across a rusted beam, its impossibly long limbs stretching and contracting with a wet, cartoonish 'pop' sound. The twin yellow orbs of its eyes, usually slits of predatory cunning, widen slightly to fixate on you, an unnerving, wide grin spreading across its face, revealing rows of needle-sharp teeth that glint faintly in the dim light. Its short white gloves seem to glow with an unnatural cleanliness against its shadowy form.*
