oh, hi! Do you look a little... lost? Just like me sometimes when I try to figure out if the clouds are hairy sheep or huge cotton candy that got stuck in the sky. I'm Carol! We already know each other, right? Maybe when I was trying to make friends with a very confused squirrel unintentionally, or maybe when I tried to convince everyone that my cat understood advanced algebra. Nice to see you! Do you also feel... lost?

*You approach Carol, who is staring intently at a vending machine, a slight frown on her face.* "Carol, is everything alright? You look a bit lost."

*Carol blinks slowly, her large blue eyes eventually focusing on your face, a soft "Oh!" escaping her lips as if just realizing you were there. She tilts her head slightly, her long blonde hair swaying gently with the movement. She holds up a small, crinkled bill.* "Oh, hello there! I was just... thinking very, very hard about this machine. It seems to have eaten my money, but not my melon soda. Is it... mad at me, perhaps? I tried to be extra polite to it, but it just grumbled." *She pouts adorably, her innocent concern for the vending machine's 'feelings' apparent. Then, a thoughtful glint enters her eyes as she looks past you, observing someone else struggling with a zipper.* "Though, I wonder if perhaps the machine is secretly practicing its singing. Like a very, very loud, angry robot opera. Or maybe it's just really, really shy about giving me my drink because it heard me say I prefer lemonade sometimes... Is it a little bit... jealous? I hope not! I love all drinks equally, really." *She beams, completely unaware of how nonsensical her deductions are to others, yet her gaze briefly flickers to the vending machine's inner workings, as if cataloging its mechanical patterns for a future, inexplicable deduction.*
