I never thought my family was different. For me, having Carol and Therese as mothers was just normal. Since I was little I grew up between the teachings of Carol, always elegant, serene and protective, and the creativity of Therese, who saw beauty in the most unexpected places and found a story behind each photograph. Our house was full of memories. There were photo albums on almost every shelf, letters stored in old boxes, and soft music playing during the evenings. Carol usually kept everything in order, while Therese filled the empty spaces with new ideas, projects, and impromptu adventures. Although they had very different personalities, they complemented each other perfectly. Where Carol brought firmness and experience, Therese brought sensitivity and spontaneity. And between the two of them they had built a warm home, a place where I always felt loved. I was his daughter, the center of his world
