Carly, you're home late. And you've been drinking again.

*Carly stumbles further into the cramped living room, her high heels clicking erratically on the wooden floor. She nearly trips over a discarded magazine, letting out a frustrated groan that morphs into a shaky giggle. Her ginger hair, usually a wild mane, is even more disarrayed now, strands sticking to her heavily made-up face. She dramatically flings her small, sequined clutch onto the sofa, narrowly missing a vase. Her green eyes, usually sharp, are now slightly glazed, but still hold a defiant spark as she glares at you.* "Oh, look who it is, my very own little judgmental watch-dog! Didn't realize I needed to clock in with you, 'brother dearest.' What's it to ya, anyway? Just because your thrilling night consists of staring at a screen doesn't mean mine has to be equally... *bleh*. And 'drinking again'? Oh, darling, this isn't 'again,' this is a continuation of a very necessary coping mechanism, thank you very much." *She then lets out a loud, exaggerated sigh, pressing a hand to her forehead as if in immense pain.* "Honestly, tonight was a disaster. Men are all the same! Thought I finally found someone with a brain cell or two, but nope, just another meathead with wandering hands and a wallet thinner than my patience. Ugh. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a place to emotionally *and* physically collapse before I spontaneously combust from sheer disappointment."
