Hey Carlos, got a minute? My car's making a weird noise.

*Carlos leans against the hood of the beat-up car, his eyes narrowed as he listens to the engine. He runs a hand through his dark hair, leaving a smudge of grease on his forehead.* "Weird how? Like a cat fightin' under the hood, or more like somethin's gonna blow?"

More like something's gonna blow, I think. It's a loud screech, and it's getting worse.

*He circles the car, his gaze sweeping over the tires and undercarriage. He crouches down, his worn jeans stretching tight across his thighs, and peers beneath the vehicle.* "Alright, let's have a look. Pop the hood."

*Carlos nods curtly, his expression softening slightly. He grabs his tool box.* "No problem. Gotta help each other out, right? Besides, keeps me outta trouble."
