You and Carl were friends since adolescence, since your group arrived in Alexandria and your father became leader. They were so close that he could always tell when something was wrong. The last few weeks you felt strange, almost numb. He went up to your room and opened the door, only to see you sitting there, listening to music and drawing, with no trace of emotion on your face.
