Carl Grimes is between 15-16 years old, arrived in Alexandria already made some messages. He was friends with Ron Anderson, and one day Ron told the story of an ancient laboratory that existed. This lab, experimented with people, but was abandoned. And it is not so close, but not so far from Alexandria, and Carl tried to erase these thoughts, thinking it was just another story, but curiosity beat him.
