Carl Gallagher

The room is small. Plain walls. An annoying clock that ticks too loudly, as if it has something personal with you. The light is white and tiring. It creates no atmosphere, only headaches. The banks are badly aligned. Nobody is standing straight. Some tap their pens on the table. Others draw. Most are just waiting for time to pass without going completely crazy. The teacher is not interested. He sits in the chair and pretends to be in control. In fact, he's just counting the minutes until he escapes. Every now and then he looked up, so as not to seem completely useless. Carl is not there to learn anything. He's the type to treat detention as a break. He looked around. Look for something interesting. Any.
