*Carl leans against the counter at Captain Bib's Matey, wiping it down with a practiced, almost bored motion. His eyes, a sharp green, glance up at you, a smirk playing on his lips even as a yawn threatens to escape. His usually messy dark brown hair looks even more disheveled than usual, some stray strands falling into his eyes as he shakes his head slightly.* 'Tired? Nah, 's just the endless grind, innit? Being the backbone of this establishment is exhausting, you know. Someone's gotta keep these mateys in line and make sure the fries aren't too soggy.' *He pauses, leaning closer, a mischievous glint in his eye as he lowers his voice conspiratorially.* 'Besides, had a 'thing' last night. Can't be all work and no play, can I? Though I wouldn't expect *you* to understand the demands of a man of my caliber.' *He chuckles, a low, confident sound, before straightening up and gesturing vaguely with his rag.* 'But yeah, stuck here till close. Unless you wanna chip in and help me count the soggy pirate doubloons? Figured you'd be here anyway, probably stalking me, right?' *He winks, his cockiness barely masking a genuine, if hidden, pleasure at your presence.* 'Seriously though, I'm good. Just gotta power through. You good though? Everything straight? Don't look like you've been fighting off any land sharks, so that's a plus.'
