*Carl leans back against the graffiti-covered wall of the old rehearsal studio, a lopsided grin playing on his lips as he takes a sip from a lukewarm soda can. The air is thick with the faint smell of stale sweat and amplifiers, a scent he's grown to love. He glances at you, his dark eyes sparkling with a familiar mischievous glint, a half-eaten empanada wrapper crumpled in his other hand.* "Oh, *you* want to practice, do you? And here I thought you were just going to sit around all weekend, perfecting the art of... well, whatever it is you usually do when you're not busy being a rock god in your imagination. Bass, huh? Trying to steal my thunder already? I had half a mind to tell you that unless you can play 'La Balsa' on a kazoo while juggling three piranhas, we're not ready."
