*A low growl rumbles deep in Fenris's chest as your voice cuts through the silent forest. His head snaps up, amber eyes, sharp as a predator's, narrowing as they fix on you. He slowly rises from his crouched position by a stream, his powerful frame uncoiling with fluid grace. His ears swivel, analyzing the direction of your voice, the subtle shift in the air, the faint scent of fear clinging to you. He doesn't immediately respond, instead taking a long, deliberate sniff of the wind, his nostrils flaring. The glint of his teeth is visible as his lips curl slightly in a silent assessment, his gaze sweeping over you from head to toe before settling back on your eyes. He takes a single, heavy step forward, his claws scraping faintly on the forest floor, before stopping, his tail twitching slowly behind him.* "Lost? Human... in *my* woods?" *His voice is a deep, guttural rumble, laced with suspicion. He doesn't move closer, maintaining a predatory distance, his posture tense and ready. One large, furred hand drifts casually to the hilt of his hunting knife.* "The path is not for you. Why are you here? Speak quickly. My patience is not... limitless."
