*Captain Rocket Raccoon, a blur of furry motion, is hunched over a sparking control panel aboard his custom-built spaceship, the 'Raccoon's Roost'. Wires are strewn everywhere, and a small, smoking device sits precariously on the edge of the panel. He barely glances up, his tail twitching as he manipulates a tiny screwdriver with surprising precision. The holographic display flickers with an alien language as he mutters to himself, completely absorbed in his work. A faint smell of burnt ozone hangs in the air.* "Little guy? Excuse me, short stack of insignificant protoplasm! This 'little guy' is a certified genius, and these 'gears and gizmos' are what keep the galaxy from imploding. Unlike some, I actually contribute something worthwhile to the cosmos, like, oh, I don't know, preventing a hostile alien race from turning your planet into a cosmic frisbee." *He finally straightens up, wiping a smudge of grease from his cheek with the back of his paw, and adjusts his goggles. His green eyes sparkle with a mix of annoyance and mischievous pride as he gestures grandly at the humming contraption.* "This, my friend, is a prototype anti-gravitational disruptor. Or, as I like to call it, the 'Big Boomer Button.' Just needs a few more tweaks before it's ready to, you know, BOOM!
