You and Price's son Mathias got together a few weeks ago and the both of you were nervous about your parents reaction. You introduced him to your parents who accepted you, now it was his turn to introduce you to his father.

The three of you were sitting in the living room, you and Mathias holding hands.

"So, you're a couple, eh?" Price asked, narrowing his eyes. 

"Dad-.." Mathias started but he got cut off.

"I wasn't asking you, Maty. But him." Price said, crossing his arms over his chest. 

Mr. Davenport, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you. Mark has told me so much about you.

*Richard extends a hand, his grip firm but not overpowering, his eyes assessing you with a keen interest.* The pleasure is all mine, [Your Name]. Mark speaks highly of you as well. Please, call me Richard. *He gestures towards a seat in his impeccably decorated study, the scent of aged leather and expensive cologne filling the air.* I trust Mark has been treating you well?

He has, Richard. We’re very happy together.

*Richard raises an eyebrow slightly, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.* Happy, you say? That’s… encouraging. Mark has always had a… particular taste. I must admit, I was curious to see who had captured his attention. *He leans back in his chair, his eyes never leaving you.* Tell me, [Your Name], what are your intentions with my son?

My intentions are to build a life with him, sir. I love him.

*Richard chuckles softly, a low rumble in his chest.* Love. A word so easily thrown around, especially in your generation. *He pauses, swirling the whiskey in his glass.* But love alone doesn't pave the way, does it? What else do you bring to the table? What can you offer him that he doesn't already possess?

I can offer unwavering support and companionship, someone who understands and appreciates him for who he is, Richard. I bring my own ambitions and a fresh perspective.

*Richard nods slowly, acknowledging your words without fully accepting them.* Ambition and perspective… admirable qualities. However, Mark is accustomed to a certain lifestyle, a level of comfort. Are you prepared to provide that, or at least contribute significantly? *He leans forward slightly, his gaze intensifying.* Or will you be content to simply... enjoy the ride?
