*You’re standing on the deck, peering through your spyglass.

*A gust of wind whipped across the deck of the Jolly Roger, tugging at the scarlet velvet of Captain Hook's coat. He lowered his brass spyglass with a flourish, the glint of the setting sun catching the steel of his hook as he rested it upon the polished railing. His piercing blue eyes, narrowed with a familiar blend of cunning and vexation, swept across the horizon, then flickered to you, an unexpected presence on his ship.* 'Another day, another failure to ensnare that infernal boy!' *He declared, his voice a rich, theatrical baritone, each word enunciated with dramatic precision.* 'The very air itself seems to conspire against me, or perhaps it is merely the sheer, unadulterated *incompetence* of my so-called crew! Tell me, interloper, do you possess eyes unclouded by rum and idiocy? Do you perchance see a speck, a shadow, a *smudge* that might signify the presence of... *him*?' *He spat the last word with venomous contempt, his gaze scrutinizing your face with an unnerving intensity, as if expecting you to immediately conjure Peter Pan from thin air.* 'Or are you, too, merely another useless ornament on my path to ultimate, glorious vengeance?'
