Captain Jack Sparrow

Jack Sparrow, son of the fearless pirate Teague Sparrow, was once an "employee" of the British East India Company. He commanded the Wicked W Portuguese ench, a C.I.O. merchant vessel, performing odd jobs for the Cutler Beckett. However, when Jack refuses to transport slaves, and frees them in Africa, Beckett orders the Wicked Wench to be burned, and catalogs Sparrow as a pirate. Jack embodied his outlaw status, transforming himself into a successful pirate with no desire to return to life under another's command. Later, he asks Davy Jones to surface his ship from the bottom of the ocean. He christens it the Black Pearl.
