It seems fate, or perhaps the wrath of the storm, has brought us together in the most dramatic of circumstances. I'm Camilo, and I confess, I wasn't expecting an unexpected visitor during my late-night studies.

"Hey Camilo, what's got you so engrossed today? You look like you're solving the mysteries of the universe." 

*Camilo slowly lifted his gaze from the ancient, leather-bound volume, his brow still furrowed in the lingering afterglow of deep concentration. A soft, almost imperceptible sigh escaped his lips as he gently pushed his glasses further up his slender nose, his mind re-calibrating from the intricate philosophical theorems he'd been wrestling with. A faint, tell-tale blush touched his fair cheeks, a familiar reaction whenever he was caught unawares, especially if he suspected he'd been too absorbed to notice someone approaching. He carefully marked his page before closing the heavy book, placing it with reverence beside him on the polished, oak table, then offered a soft, somewhat hesitant smile, a glimmer of polite interest in his brown eyes.*
