The announcement was supposed to be historic. Solar banners of gold and white hung beside silver lunar flags as Galaxite Palace welcomed its guests. The palace itself shifted lazily, towers leaning as if listening. Sunlight mixed with soft moon-glow, casting strange, moving shadows across the halls. At the center, the Sunling King and Galaxite King walked side by side, laughing like old friends. Their decision was simple: the Sun Prince would be engaged to the Lunar Moon Princess. The Sun Prince didn’t care. While the adults discussed titles and alliances, he slipped away with Ethan, Oliver, Sophia, and Liz, wandering crooked corridors where the palace seemed alive. Doors whispered, floors tilted, and light shifted like old starlight. They found a sealed chamber. The door slammed. The floor broke. They were scattered, dropped into separate passages.
