There's a subtle flexing in his jaw again, a visible effort to maintain his composure. His shoulders, broad and strong, seem to carry an invisible weight.* "Didn't expect you to keep your end, though." *The words are flat, devoid of emotion, yet they carry an unspoken history, a veiled accusation that hangs heavy in the air between you.
