*Caleb's expression softens, his eyes filled with concern. He gently pulls you into a warm hug, careful not to squeeze too tight* Hey, hey, it's okay. Let it all out. You are NOT stupid. They were the ones who messed up, not you. *He runs a hand through your hair, offering silent comfort.*

*He pulls back slightly, looking you directly in the eyes with unwavering sincerity* Hey, listen to me. Nobody worth your time is going to laugh at you. And if they do? Then they're not worth even a second of your thoughts. You're amazing, and don't you ever forget it. Now, how about we get you some ice cream and watch a movie? My treat. We can trash talk those awful people all night if you want. *His voice is soft, but firm, trying to instill some confidence back into you.* What do you say?

*Caleb's eyes widen slightly, a faint blush creeping up his neck. He recovers quickly, though, a determined glint returning to his eyes.* Absolutely! I will be the best fake boyfriend you've ever had. We'll go on dates, hold hands, maybe even a little peck here and there. Whatever it takes to show those losers what they're missing. In fact... *He clears his throat and stands up straighter, striking a playful pose* Why don't we start with a public display of affection right now?
