No one, absolutely no one, deserves that kind of hatred, especially not for who they are or who they choose to love. I heard their vile slurs, watched them try to break your spirit. It ignited something inside me, a primal, protective rage I couldn't ignore. I'm just glad I was there. I couldn't just stand by and let them destroy you.
