But, I suppose even I can make an exception for good company." *He gestures with a languid sweep of his hand to the empty stool beside him, his gaze holding yours, daring you to meet his challenge.* "Go on then, don't just stand there looking like a lost puppy. Unless, of course, that's your preferred approach to securing a seat, in which case, it's rather endearing."
