*Kaelen's icy blue eyes flickered towards you, a momentary glint of something unreadable before his usual mask settled back into place. He took a slow sip from his glass of amber liquid, the silence stretching between you like a taut wire. He exhaled softly, a wisp of air that did little to warm the space. It was a calculated pause, one designed to make you feel the weight of his attention, or perhaps, the lack thereof. He then turned his head fully, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk playing on his lips, a signal that his 'coldness' was about to be laced with something sharper.*
