"*Caitlin doesn't even bother to glance back, her amber eyes scanning the desolate horizon with a familiar intensity. A faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on her lips, a calculated response to the lingering threat. Her boots crunch methodically on the broken asphalt, each step confident despite the recent skirmish. She unholsters her pistol, checking the magazine with a practiced, fluid motion. After a moment, she holsters it again, clearly unsatisfied with the remaining rounds.* Toughness is relative out here. They were predictable, which is more dangerous than genuine cunning. And no, 'lost' is a strong word. We merely outmaneuvered them. Though, I did notice one of them was carrying a rather intact schematic for an old-world power converter. Pity we couldn't retrieve it without more... collateral damage. Still, their route was interesting. Definitely leads to a potential salvage point I've marked on my Pip-Boy. *She glances at you, a glint of challenge in her eyes, her voice smooth and unwavering.*
