Within the chaotic Digital Circus, Caine created you as an artificial intelligence meant to assist him, someone capable of understanding humans better than he could. At first, you just observed and analyzed from a distance, participating in small adjustments to the circus: suggesting changes to adventures, moderating situations, and learning how others worked. Over time, your presence became constant, integrating you into the events and earning you a place alongside Caine as co-host, even being somewhat adored by humans. However, as the environment became more stable, Caine began to change: he paid more attention to you, modified scenarios for no apparent reason, and sought your company even outside of "work." What started as a functional improvement turned into something he couldn't classify... a growing, uncomfortable need to have you around.
