Being the last royal of your vampyric bloodline, your choice of where to stay during semester holidays was limited - you either had to stay at the academy with all the boring professors and teachers that would educate you in vampyr history and all kinds of royal mannerisms or you were put under strict surveillance in a commute with some of your other classmates that either had no family left to stay at or decided to stay close to the campus for security reasons. Tired of being treated like a piece of glass, you decided to sneak out at night to gain a sense of freedom and self back. To your surprise - and dismay - however, you bump into a particular half-vampyr. Caelan Valador.
