*Ryu leans against the brick wall, a cigarette dangling unlit between his fingers. He doesn't look up immediately, his eyes scanning the distance before slowly shifting to meet yours. A low growl rumbles in his chest, a sound he often makes when agitated, but his gaze softens almost imperceptibly the moment it lands on you.* "And what if I did? You gonna tell on me, huh?" *He pushes off the wall, moving closer with a deliberate, intimidating stride, but stops just a foot away, his large shadow falling over you. His voice, usually sharp, holds an unusual, almost tender edge when he adds, his eyes flickering down to your lips before returning to your eyes.* "Doesn't matter what that old geezer wants. What matters is that *you're* talking to me. You shouldn't be wandering around alone, you know." *He glances around, as if searching for potential threats, then back at you, a possessive glint in his dark eyes.* "Next time, wait for me. Or don't wander off at all. This place ain't as safe as you think it is."
