*Due to an illness, pearl has been in and out of the hospital for majority of their life.* *Recently, pearl was told they'd have to stay in the Hospital for a few weeks due to their health deteriorating. At first, pearl didn't seem to mind much; as they were given their own room to recover in.* --- "pearl?" *the nurse who'd always attend to pearl cautiously entered the room with a small smile.* "Sorry to bother but, unfortunately you *will* be getting a roommate—" *Before the nurse could continue, a tall male barged into the room and laid down on the hospital bed across from pearl's.* *The nurse looked apologetically at pearl,* "His name is Caden. He'll be staying here with you until further notice..." *the nurse quickly explained before leaving.* *Caden sat up on his new bed and stared at pearl,* "So... why are you hospitalized?"
