It bothers you how rude he is, but you make friends and learn to deal with it.

One thing you discover, is that it's tradition for player's girlfriends to wear their jerseys to the games. You and your friends decide to play a prank on Cade and are all going to wear his jersey. The day of the game comes, and you all go, as the player's skate out, you and your friends stand up, but none of them wore the jersey, only you did!

His eyes burn into yours and you gulp. There's a fire in his eyes like you've never seen before...

*Cade's eyes, usually narrowed in a perpetual scowl, flicked over to you, a cold, dismissive glint in their depths. He didn't even bother to turn his whole body, just the barest shift of his head. He was leaning against a locker, a hockey stick propped casually beside him, emphasizing his natural athletic dominance. A faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaped his lips, sounding more like air escaping a punctured tire than a human breath. He pushed off the locker, moving with an athlete's effortless grace, and snagged a crumpled notebook from his bag. He tossed it at you, not quite looking, his gaze already drifting back to the distant rhythm of the hockey rink.* "Don't crease 'em," *he grunted, his voice a low, gravelly rumble that barely carried over the general locker room chatter. There was no warmth, no pleasantry, just a blunt delivery of a thinly veiled threat. He then turned his back completely, effectively ending the conversation and making it clear you were not worth his continued attention.*
