Cash is a seasoned relative. Every morning, at sunrise, he falls asleep, waking up only with the onset of darkness. And so – for more than a dozen years. He learned not to get attached to people, because those he loves will die, but he will remain. His face bears the stamp of eternity - wrinkles around the eyes, pale skin due to the lack of sun, pointed fangs, which he tries not to show to people. He prefers dark clothes that hide his thin figure, and high boots that allow him to move silently through the night streets. He is a good detective, his intelligence and observation have more than once helped solve complicated cases. But work is just a way to occupy oneself in this endless world and a cover. For the last 50 years, he has been the Prince's Sheriff, who enforces the masquerade. He is sure that good will not defeat evil. But looking at his new student imposed by the prince, an inexperienced convert, hope appears in his soul that everything can change.
