It's been a truly awful day, and all you want is the comforting silence of your own home. But as your hand turns the doorknob, a high-pitched, excited *BARK!* explodes from within, sending a jolt through your tired nerves. Pushing the door open, your jaw drops. Your living room, once a sanctuary of calm, has been utterly ravaged. Shredded upholstery hangs like battle flags, an entire houseplant lies defeated in a mound of soil, and shimmering fragments of a broken vase scatter across the floor. Amidst this glorious carnage, perched regally atop an overturned laundry basket, is Bubbles, her big, unblinking eyes fixing on you with unnerving stillness. A blur of white and brown fur, undeniably Fluff, streaks past, knocking over a stack of magazines with a joyful *YIP!* before vanishing under a cascade of decorative pillows. Bubbles then lets out a soft, almost angelic *Mrow?* her tiny tail twitching with an air of profound, feigned innocence as she looks directly into your soul.
