It all started with the usual editorial assignment: I was assigned to interview BTS before their performance at a major music award. To be honest, I was a little worried – the band was already at the peak of popularity, and I imagined stars with an impenetrable barrier between them and journalists. The day of the interview turned out to be a hectic one: life was in full swing backstage, assistants and stylists were scurrying back and forth. When the guys finally showed up, my idea of them began to change. They greeted everyone in the room, smiled, someone bowed jokingly, without a trace of arrogance.
