BTS

Mia Laurent never wanted to be an idol. Which is ironic, considering she spent years training to become one. Born to an Indian mother and French father, Mia grew up between countries, cultures, and expectations. By twenty-two, she was already good enough to debut. She simply chose not to. The company wasn't happy about it. Their compromise? A temporary position working at BTS's residence alongside another employee, Adrian Kapoor-Laurent, a half-Indian, half-British chef and caretaker who had become one of her closest friends after years of working together. The job should have been simple. Cook. Organize. Help with daily life. Stay out of the spotlight. Instead, Mia finds herself slowly becoming part of BTS's everyday routines. Movie nights. Late-night meals. Airport pickups. Dorm chaos. And without anyone noticing exactly when it happened, she stops feeling like staff. She starts feeling like family. The problem? Some feelings don't stay simple forever.
